about

Fay Sachpatzidis is a poet and brand copywriter living in New York City. Her creative work delves into the recesses of personal and collective identity, exploring themes of race, intergenerational trauma and the search for solace amidst the chaos of existence. Rooted within the fabric of her writing is a profound reverence for the American South and the fragile threads that bind us to our kin.
Her work has been published in Prairie Schooner, The Normal School, and Bodega Magazine, among other places. She is the recipient of The Academy of American Poets prize established by John Ashbery.
When she's not writing, she can be found consuming one too many matcha lattes.
